Effective Date: Upon signing

1. What Is This Agreement?
Section titled “1. What Is This Agreement?”FundedYouth Academy (“FundedYouth”) is a nonprofit organization that teaches kids and teens about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through hands-on projects in our makerspace.
This is the Subscription & Credit Plan Agreement. It explains how the credit system works, what the Subscriptions and Sessions sections of the portal do, and the rules you need to follow when using them. By signing this, you are saying you have read it, understand it, and agree to follow it.
By signing this agreement, the Subscriptions and Sessions sections of the portal are unlocked automatically. Once you sign, both sections will appear in your portal right away.
This agreement works alongside the General Use Agreement, which you must have already signed. The rules in the General Use Agreement still apply.
2. What Gets Unlocked
Section titled “2. What Gets Unlocked”Signing this agreement unlocks two sections of the portal:
| Section | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Subscriptions | Managing your credit plan, wallet, and optional add-ons |
| Sessions | Browsing and registering for in-person classes, workshops, and events |
Both sections work together. You use your Subscriptions section to manage your credits, and your Sessions section to spend those credits on in-person events.
3. How the Subscriptions Section Works
Section titled “3. How the Subscriptions Section Works”The Subscriptions section has four parts:
Membership
Section titled “Membership”This is where you can view and manage your FundedYouth membership plan. Your membership tier determines the benefits you receive, such as monthly credit allocations.
Credit Packs
Section titled “Credit Packs”This is where you can purchase additional credits. Credit packs come in two types:
- One-time packs — You buy a set number of credits once and they are added to your wallet.
- Monthly packs — You subscribe to a plan that adds credits to your wallet automatically each month on your billing date.
Credits are not money. They are a separate system that FundedYouth provides to help you access sessions and activities.
Add-ons
Section titled “Add-ons”This is where you can subscribe to optional monthly add-ons that give you extra features or benefits beyond your base membership. Each add-on shows what it includes and how much it costs per month.
Wallet
Section titled “Wallet”This is where you track your credit balance and see a full history of your credit activity, including:
- Credits you received from your monthly plan
- Credits you purchased through credit packs
- Credits you spent registering for sessions
- Any penalties applied for no-shows
- Any refunds or adjustments made by an administrator
Your wallet is your credit bank. If your balance reaches zero, you cannot register for new sessions until you add more credits.
4. How the Sessions Section Works
Section titled “4. How the Sessions Section Works”The Sessions section has two parts:
Browse Events
Section titled “Browse Events”This is where you can find upcoming in-person sessions at FundedYouth. Sessions may include classes, workshops, bootcamps, and open events. Each listing shows:
- The name and description of the event
- The date, time, and location
- The instructor running the event
- How many spots are left
- How many credits it costs to register
To register for a session, you must:
- Have enough credits in your wallet
- Click “Register” to confirm your spot
Your credits are deducted from your wallet at the time of registration.
My Registrations
Section titled “My Registrations”This is where you can see all the sessions you have registered for. For each registration, you can see:
- The event name, date, and time
- Your registration status — registered, attended, no-show, or cancelled
- How many credits were charged
- Whether any penalties were applied
You can also cancel a registration from this section, as long as you cancel before the cancellation window closes.
5. The Credit System
Section titled “5. The Credit System”FundedYouth uses a credit system to manage access to sessions and activities. Credits are not money and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are simply a way for FundedYouth to manage how members access its programs.
How You Get Credits
Section titled “How You Get Credits”- Monthly plan credits — If you have an active credit plan, credits are added to your wallet automatically each month.
- Credit pack purchases — You can buy additional credits at any time through the Credit Packs section.
- Refunds and adjustments — A FundedYouth administrator may add or remove credits from your account for corrections or special reasons.
How You Spend Credits
Section titled “How You Spend Credits”- Credits are spent when you register for a session. The cost is shown on each event listing before you confirm.
- If you cancel a registration before the cancellation window closes, your credits may be returned.
- If you do not show up to a session you registered for, you will receive a no-show penalty and lose additional credits.
Important Things to Know About Credits
Section titled “Important Things to Know About Credits”- Credits are not money. They cannot be traded, sold, or refunded for cash.
- Credits are tied to your account. They cannot be transferred to another person.
- Your balance can go below zero if a penalty is applied and you do not have enough credits to cover it.
- FundedYouth can change or stop the credit system at any time, including changing credit costs, plan amounts, or removing the system entirely.
- Credits are only usable while your account is active. If your account is suspended or terminated, your credits are frozen and may be forfeited.
6. Cancellations and No-Shows
Section titled “6. Cancellations and No-Shows”Cancelling a Registration
Section titled “Cancelling a Registration”- You can cancel a session registration through the My Registrations section before the cancellation window closes.
- Cancel early enough and you will not lose your credits. The current default cancellation window is at least 3 days before the session. If you cancel within this window, you will not be penalized.
- This time period can change. FundedYouth may update the cancellation window at any time and will inform you. Even if you miss the announcement, the portal will always show you the current policy when you register and when you attempt to cancel — so you will always know before you confirm.
- Cancel late and you may lose your credits. If you cancel after the window closes, you may not get your credits back. The portal will warn you before you confirm a late cancellation.
No-Shows
Section titled “No-Shows”If you register for a session and do not show up and do not cancel in time:
- You will be marked as a “No-Show” by an administrator.
- You will lose credits. The penalty is usually double what the session cost. For example, if a session cost 4 credits, the penalty is 8 credits.
- Repeated no-shows may result in your session access being reviewed or suspended.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Section titled “7. Subscriptions and Billing”- By signing up for a credit plan or add-on, you agree to be billed on a monthly basis.
- Payment is processed through a secure, third-party payment processor. FundedYouth does not store your full payment details.
- All prices are in U.S. dollars.
- Refund policies depend on the specific plan. These will be shown to you at the time of purchase.
- If you see a charge you did not make, contact a FundedYouth administrator right away.
- To cancel a subscription or add-on, contact a FundedYouth administrator. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Section titled “If You Are 18 or Older”- You can sign this agreement and manage your subscriptions on your own.

- Breaking any of the rules in this agreement or the General Use Agreement.
- Repeated no-shows without cancellation.

- Behavior that is disruptive or harmful to the FundedYouth community.
If your access is suspended, these sections will disappear from your portal until a FundedYouth administrator restores them.
10. Changes to This Agreement
